Not to worry about C2. I spent the 80s reading Japan gazers. People who would studied Japan as if they were from outerspace.

I respect people's efforts and achievements. But NOTHING can surpass the SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES.

Countries are products of the set of circumstances. Given the right set of circumstances they skyrocket. But that has nothing to do with an inherently superiority of a given people as they like to construe.

I used to say: Japan will return to the insignificance they came from. That when people would thing they would dominate the world.

Look to Japan today.

And even TJ -who knows struff- was fooled, when once I said something about Brazil TJ said: They are the bankers of the world. Do not even mention Brazil and Japan in the same sentence.

I am always right too early. That is my problem.

The set of circumstances changing, means, countries who were bright and beautiful, full of intelligent, hard working honest people suddenly become just like ordinary countries.

Parodying Andy Warhol: in the future any country will be a power nation for 15 minutes.

US will return to its natural size since the ste of circumstabnces changed. Should have returned already but has been postponing.

That will happen with Brazil and China. We will skyrocket. Will be admired and then we will return to the insignificance we came from. That is how the next 30 or 40 years will look like.

Then set of circumstances will change and it will be the trun fo someone else.

Thus no need for China gazing.
