Well there was a second liar on the show.....the winger sportscaster defending Rush.

Y'll don't care about right or wrong any more do. Pushing lies is all part of getting ahead, winning 'the game'. Confuse the semi ignorant base....make them believe there are still WMDs in Iraq; that Obama was born in Kenya; that he is a communist; that the gov't is bad and will force people to attend death panels. Stir up the pot and confuse.......the Rs ultimate MO.

That may work with your base but y'll have lost the power to fool the rest of us. As a consequence, the Rs are becoming ciphers.......like the uncle cheney who is loud and pushy and threatening. People listen politely then turn away. So sorry.

He then went on to say that Al Sharpton made up false comments and attributed them to Rush. In spite of the fact that it was said over and over again that the quotes cited by Sharpton were true and that even Rush admitted to having said them, the sportscaster insisted they were lies. It was the most amazing thing to watch.......this guy lied repeatedly on national TV.....so much so that AC had to say again at the end of the segment that the quotes were not false.

When did it become acceptable to lie in front of so many people? I am astounded.

The only person to be convicted by court of law to be a liar on that program was Al Sharpton
