Ike and all my friends on the idea thread.-You guys really are the best!I can not express the joy your friendship and caring brought to me this day. I admit I was bloodied on Monday but I felt hopeless after my previously trustworthy broker Charles Schwab turned on me. It was my own foolishness that had me over exposed in options with no hedge. I thought my nimbleness could salvage a bad situation but my broker made me lock in my losses by not executing at all on the biggest up day in history! -They gave me several different stories of why it was not their fault..One broker said my market order for 50 vrts calls was cancelled 25 minutes after I plced it and never went to the exchange. Another called and said in 10 years at schwab he had never seen them treat someone this blatently bad(he said this on a recorded line)-Later he said my order did indeed get to the floor and it was the exchange who invoked rule 702 that says we can srew up and it aint our fault!-The ultimate appealate division for schwab is their chairmans division and they assured me they would investigate it and get back to me tomorrow..that was 36 hours ago and I got no messages from them. -They also failed to honor a market order sell on monday of klic during the freefall and tuesday after the rebound they decided to make me sell it then even though it had already bounced and was 2 points above where I had tried to sell it monday.-They would not honor my request to play intc's bounce on the share buy back based on klic and vrts calls not being filled 1 day and 4 hours earlier.- I have never sued anyone in my life but this time I will give it a try!-I actually developed rectal bleeding yesterday which has never happened to me before.-You guys and gals make me realize that there are more important things in life, and the smile and kisses from my 1 year old daughter and beautiful wife today along with the kind words from Ike and Island Mutt and everyone makes me put things in the proper perspective. Thanks again -you all are the best!!
