Unfortunately, Presidents Reagan and GWB contributed to this, by cutting the Federal Tax rate to zero to a lot more former taxpayers, turning them into freeloaders.... Agreed. Liberals have been staging this assault of democracy for generations. President Reagan was faced with a hostile House and Tip O'Neil never did anything President Reagan wanted without payback. President Bush 43 simply lacked the will to stand up to Congress. Liberals had to get something as a price to restarting the economy after the Clinton recession. The slope resembles something like a hyperbola. The more people don't pay taxes the greedier they get.
