BASI is still up 75.49% on volume of > 156,270 about 40x its ADV

The stock is having a good spike. It traded at the highest level so far this Yr.

BASI is trying to get off from the longer term DT coming from its Dec 2007 H of $9.39 The July 2001 H was $14.50

BASI provides contract development services and research equipment to pharmaceutical, medical research, and biotechnology companies worldwide.
It operates in two segments, Research Services and Research Products.
The Research Services provides various services, including screening and pharmacological testing, preclinical safety testing, formulation development, regulatory compliance, and quality control testing.
The Research Products segment designs, develops, manufactures, and markets robotic sampling systems, including disposables, training, and systems qualification; in vivo microdialysis collection systems; physiology monitoring tools; and liquid chromatography and electrochemistry instrument platforms.
Its product portfolio includes a robotic automated pharmacology system; bioanalytical separation systems to detect and quantify low concentrations of substances; specialized chemical analyzers that monitor trace levels of organic chemicals; epsilon, a single liquid chromatography and electrochemistry instrument control platform; a line of miniaturized in vivo sampling devices sold to drug developers and medical research centers that assist in the study of various medical conditions including stroke, depression, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, diabetes, and osteoporosis; and Vetronics, animal diagnostic electro-cardiogram and vital signs monitors used in veterinary clinics. It also also manufactures scientific instruments for medical research, which it sells with related software for use in industrial, governmental, and academic laboratories.
