In his defense and in the defense of some others who appear on the banned list they did have some contributions to make. The worst thing that could happen is to have a thread such as PFP where everyone agrees. It's awful. I appreciate that there is disagreement and that other's think differently from me. As long as they show respect for the individual posting what they don't like. Stockman-Scott is a wonderful poster and I go to other threads to read him. Bearcatbob provided interesting posts. Mr. Lucky...And coug is a aesthete I think... Koan has some wonderful thoughts and there are others. Now please don't tell me to start my own thread . I am too old and worn out for that. We may not agree with everyone but they cannot always engage in debate as some might be just sticking a finger into a hornets nest to get a response. This thread is like a melting pot to me. The more the merrier and the more who disagree with civility and respect the better. I didn't get banned from PFP I just was asked privately not to post there as I might upset people. Golly upset people. How can we learn anything unless we get UPSET... and nudged from our complacency. It's as though we fear what other's think. I know where I stand so I am not threatened. It does not keep me from shaking my head in disbelief,however and in some instance feeling ill that some people would think the way that they do. Just my rant on banning. I wish it would be like a TIME OUT in hockey and then the poster could return if he or she choose to. Is this possible. Those who have not insulted that is.
