Apparently Pacific Brokerage does not change open interest figures when the trade is made. :( As of the close last night, there were 607 open Nov 30 put contracts, so apparently that 500 deal was opening, and the sales we saw were specialist hedges. No significant volume yesterday either, only 20 contracts. FWIW Barb
