Mark,

I frequently buy the close and flip the gap.
If the issue does not gap, and shows no strength I may still hold.
Will sell it on any weakness however. Buying the bid side
cuts the loss factor as well, and increases your profits when you
got to sell on the offer side.

Being long has been tough, but I am making money..
