A far weaker response than I had expected. It happened "just 'cause"???

The answer, of course, is that it happened because Kennedy was perceived as weak -- just as Obama is today.

It is no surprise that Iran is acting out. That Qaddaffi, after giving up his WMD programs while Bush was president, has become belligerent once again. That DPRK is on the move again. That Russia is no longer in a cooperative mood. Afghanistan and Pakistan are falling apart (yet, Bush's "bad war", the Iraq War, has been won and frankly, nobody really knows why we still have troops there).

During the Bush years Russia was not only behaving for the most part, they were actually cooperative behind the scenes WRT Iran. Only when it was clear we were electing a weak, neophyte as president did they become a problem. And now, they've made an absolute fool of Clinton who went there seeking sanctions and came back empty handed (in fact, having to claim she didn't go there for that purpose to begin with -- in order to save face). You think that would have happened with John Bolton running the show? Hell no.

That you simpletons cannot see the correlation between the weakness of our president and the sudden surge in problems in dealing with foreign governments? I guess you want to blame it all on Bush.
