Your hula hoe reminded me of how thankful I am to have a small town home back yard. A few years ago I had the small lawn taken out and replaced with block pavers. The only vegetation I now have in the yard are flower pots. Of course, the flowers are finished for the season, so they don't require attention until spring. The green belt behind my house has huge maple and cottonwood trees, so I have to take my leaf blower out back a few times each fall. That's the extent of my yard work. Retirement is wonderful!!!
