sig, that's your problem..I can site all the places that cpq is strong and weak in and the places dell is strong and weak in. I check my emotions at the door. I have over the yrs purchased 1000's of put contracts on stks I love... You'll miss all the postive things I say about Dell bec. I said your 6 month old baby had a wart <ggg> And, that's the emotion you treat this stk with... shall I tell you how many put contracts I've purchased on cpq the last 2 yrs.. in dollars you wouldn't believe it.. but, I'm way ahead on putting and calling cpq. It's a good thing you don't work for Dell.. You aren't critical enough of their processes to know they can always be improved 100%. Instead you say.." we are the best and we can't be beat...ra ra"...that's no way to run a business. Dell just got it's bu-- kicked this qtr. by cpq bec. it had plaenty it could have done to improve and it didn't do any of them. And, I've played in this thing since the beginning..let me tell you. HP, IBM, DEC, and others are pissed. They are going after dell contracts and they are getting them. Even larger dealers are getting some of them. I've been on the recieving end of that when at cpq. When they all put an x on you and say we are going to tag you... you don't die but the hits will sting alittle. Since , you ahve never been on the upper management inside of this..you don't and never will know what I'm talking about here. send me an email and I might just send you a secret.
