Good Good Monring Sonny, So far today things are looking good at this point as I heard Intel is up in over night trading. I guess we will see what happens, this market is just so volatile and unpredictable. Yes, I am very disappointed that I won't get to see Gretchen until after Christmas. I am contemplating just taking off to see her however, as she is growing so fast. Debbi does send videos occasionally, but that is not as good as really seeing her. I hope that you have a Happy Halloween. Here is an opinion about Techs that I found very positive and thought that I would share with you.

"My $0.02 worth, we are experiencing an anomoly due to the Asian market problems and there is nothing wrong with the US markets, especially in the technology sector. Tech stocks, by nature, have high P/E ratios due to the amount of $$$ they have to invest in R & D and manufacturing, and they are thus more susceptable to market fluctuations. High Beta stocks move around more, that's why they are so profitable when they move up.

This will pass, in a month we will all be wearing great big smiles again. I wish I had more $$$ to buy bargains with right now.

I can say this. I work for a well established semiconductor company and our backlog is high. Many of our customers are computer OEM's and disk drive makers, and they are placing orders, they are not slowing down their order rates. I have to believe the markets will bounce back from this temporary madness."

Since the author works in the business, I found his opinion to be very encouraging. I hope you also did. Have a good good day. Go INTEL.

Margaret
