Seriously stop and go back and read who fpg was posting to. That poster, Paarl I believe, was saying no one was going to open up a case against Intel if they weren't going to reign in wall street.

Yes, I know. The investigations are very old news.

The fact you pointed out dates during the Bush administration only helps to strengthen FPG's point that the government is serious about this.

Intel has been investigated continuously for years. If you read some of the quotes from the FTC they say they were constantly reviewing Intel's business practices and didn't see any need to escalate it to a formal investigation because Intel cooperated fully and provided them with everything they asked for. The escalated it reluctantly.
