I believe Bush's actions in this area were totally appropriate in the circumstances. The 5-4 decision of the Supreme Court was wrong IMO.

I would add that the Military Commissions Act of 2006 was a bipartisan bill receiving support in both the House and the Senate from both Ds and Rs and those who supported it undoubtedly believed it was right at the time.

You people forget that AQ picked a war with us with an unproked attack that killed 3,000 innocent Americans.
