The many Machiavellian implications you've cited concerning broadband (which, I suppose, would also apply to how I reacted to Pandora's emailing me a notification that my time was running out) should also serve as a form of prelude to what we can expect to find over time in the pricing matrices of smart grid electricity delivery "products", methinks, although it will likely be more confusing.
