It's hilarious to read posters on the thread who support banning me. It reads like a who's who of members who were found intellectually wanting in a host of topics discussed.

It must give them comfort to re-write the history of a members posting habits over many months, and put a grossly negative slant on their participation. Of course, it's all done without one shred of real evidence or thoughtful analysis. Reminds me of a teenager screaming, "because I said so!" over and over, instead of examining their real motivation.

The question I still have is why would a hard left wing ideologue like Dale Baker start a thread entitled "View from the Center", if he only wanted views from the hard left he agreed with? Seems kinda odd. I would have just called the thread "view from the left" instead of pretending otherwise. But, that's just me. I suppose I'm too honest to play games like that with other posters on SI. I respect the other participants on SI, and have learned a lot from them whether they're left, right or center to treat them with such contempt. I guess some people like Dale get a morbid thrill out of the phony exercise.

It takes all kinds I suppose....
