I vaguely remember you mentioning Kevin to me years ago. Life can be so darned hard for some people. An old neighbor jumped off a rock on a dare skiing one day...........he was 17. That decision really ruined his life. He broke his back in 7 places. He's about 50 now and in pretty poor shape. He had several surgeries, and even eventually got married and had 2 kids.....a boy and a girl, but his marriage fell apart and he is alone now. He walks (painfully) with a cane, is a diabetic, smokes like a chimney, drinks like a fish, smokes pot to ease his pain but the last time I saw him I could see he is going downhill fast. I don't think he has much longer to live? He gets very depressed at times, but after his wife left him for the UPS guy, he fulfilled a life long dream and moved up to the river. He is making the best of a bad situation. And we (sometimes) think we've got it bad.
