Thanks for posting that. Urge all to read and contact their Congress People.

Senate proposal - in essence - uptick, .05 uptick, no artificial uptick, preference to long sales, and settlement of short sales that is equivalent to requirements on long sales.

They should add to that - requirement to locate shares in advance of short sale and require brokers to tell customers when their shares are being given out to cover short sales.
