BTW the average compensation of the bottom 10% is a lot lower than $40K. Think four digits.

Not at most companies... and it's based on the company you work for. More complex with private companies.

And the point is to bring the higher end comp and the low end comp closer together. Restore the middle class. You remember the middle class, don't you?
