So you'd put the 80% tax rate beginning at $250K. Of course, less than 2% of households make that much.

I know it costs us ~$40K to put on a warehouse guy when you consider total cost including benefits.

But you can quibble with the numbers all you want... just back of envelope stuff off the top of my head. Maybe it's the bottom 20%, maybe it's 10X their cost, maybe it 30X their cost. Maybe it's a 70% tax rate or maybe it's a 90% or 95% tax rate.

I would rather discuss concept and the effect.
