It's certainly stupid for them to think they are going to win over anyone except their loyal lemming viewers with obvious tripe like that. But like that whole crowd, it's all about churning their base for ratings. If they make their cause look foolish for the rest of America, too bad. Middle America doesn't sign their paychecks and syndication deals.
