Fair assessment Elmer. I guess at my age and for my set up, I look toward AMD with its regular volatility. Yeah, there is risk, but played right it ebbs and flows a pretty predictable pace. If I wanted a safe investment, I would stick with Intel because it also ebbs and flows but it takes a bit longer to reach its peaks and valleys and the range is more narrow. Dividends are nice though. BTW, I though GE was a good investment, but I didn't pull the trigger. Still do on the long haul. I bought dryships instead which hasn't done anything. I said I haven't lost money on AMD, but that doesn't always go for everything else. sigh
