That caused me a lot of anger until I let it go.

We learned to ignore her when we got together. The house was big enough that if we were in the living room and she came in there, we moved to the kitchen or outside. If she followed, we kept moving. We knew it was just a matter of time before she passed out. The trick was trying to keep all the grandkids from seeing it or being attacked by her. Fortunately that was a rare occasion that she attacked them.

Something I think JXM even remembers is that she would collect the saltine crackers and sugar packets from restaurants when my dad would take her out. She would then wrap those up and give them to the grandkids for Christmas. Little screw loose there maybe?
