Crocodile and all,
Here's the way I see it....
All of us realize the inherit risks in any of these exploration companies. If any of us are looking to make a guaranteed return on our money, the exploration business is NOT the place to be. Granny and little orphan Annie should stick with their money market funds, traditional savings, etc.
Therefore, we can't fault management for what happens over the course of the exploration process. We cannot fault management if the exploration doesn't go as fast as we'd like because of climate conditions, ice roads melting, heavy fog, etc.
I like to think of these jrs. as "treasure hunters". We put up the dollars to fund these co's to find our treasure so we all can strike it rich. Greed and the good life are motivations for everyone involved.
But I just don't see how R.T. fits the profile of the huckster / snake oil salesman, he is being made out to be. For example. heres the last 20 years of his life... ---------- From 1991 to present, President of Winspear Resources Ltd., involved in exploration of diamonds in Northern Canada and Botswana, Africa.
As President of Trimin Resources Ltd., from 1989 to 1991, involved in the discovery, development and sale of the Hansen Lake copper/zinc deposit.
From 1977 - 1989, District Geologist for Esso Minerals Canada, involved in acquisition and joint ventures exploring for uranium, gold and base metals. ---------
Just look at the amount of time he spent at Esso Minerals. Anyone with this type of job stability rates high in my book. The hucksters are usually drifting from job to job.
And he's been leading WSP for the last six years... basically from nothing to possibly one of the biggest/most valuable diamond finds in Canadian history.
I see us on the brink of something big here. Lets not start the mutiny just yet!
Remember how many times Columbus or Magellan were abused/threatened with death/attempted mutiny/etc..... right before the big discoveries.
Patience folks... the new world lies just ahead. Either that or we'll be sailing off the edge.
I've been willing to take that gamble, how about you?
So Lady Croc, just another side of the story.... |
