Been there and love it,but too far from the Florida beaches, the Carribbean,and a major Metropolitan city..and cold with snow in the winter,brrr.Snow is good for about 4 days.
Where i am is 3 hours to Florida panhandle,2 hours to Atlanta,4 hours to Nassau,4 hrs to NYC, 6 hrs to Vegas,9 hours to Ireland.
And 20 hours to Lake Tahoe,lol (the last time i went it was the trip from hell).
Please find me a country with English laws,language ,and customs...with low taxes,and no gun controls....and a mild climate.But until you do,any ideas on good offshore investments?
If it wasn't for the taxes,thieves,and lawyers(redundant about the lawyers) USA would be a paradise.It's still a great place in many ways-i've yet to find anywhere better for me.
