I know how much GM struggled with the Volt to get a 40-50 mile range between charges, so the BYD performance, if true, would be a tremendous blow to GM. What I want from GM is a straight answer regarding MPG with the Volt. Too much finagling of the 50 miles per charge and weekly average mileage. What I want to know is how far that puppy will get me on a full charge and a tank of gas. That's how mileage should be figured. In fact, I also want to know what it's MPG would be if I didn't bother to charge it because I was driving it cross country on generator power only. Hawk
