"Honestly, CJ, if you want to learn something, rather than just repeating the party line, you would do well to read it"

I have better things to do with my time than read screeds from the Cato Institute. Especially one that counters common sense. As I have pointed out, if FDR's policies were so bad, why didn't other countries which didn't have similar policies recover quicker? The Great Depression was not a uniquely American event, it was global.

"It has now become common knowledge that FDR's economic policy prolonged the Great Depression. In fact, only liberals seem to not understand this for some reason."

Hmm, so Bernanke is a liberal? Who knew?

This statement is counter-factual, like so many of your pronouncements. It is only the right wingnuts who hold this belief, and they are not uniformly liberal. Far from it.

Look, the precepts of the Chicago School were tested recently. The global economic meltdown shows exactly how deeply flawed that school of thought is. You haven't come to terms with it, but are still in the denial phase.
