Greg, Inpathique shows up short term for the DOW and IBM. The implied volatility on IBM makes the options very pricey, requiring precise timing. Most Fridays are down, so I'll look for some calls after lunch.

Did you read the interview with Bernie Schaeffer in this month's Stocks and commodities? He used IBM to illustrate option strategies. In short he said to look at OI only because volume is a gross figure meaning one doesn't know if it is new positions or closing of positions, or just day traders buying and selling the same day.

Bernie also said that "put support" and "call resistance" is when there are a lot of OI in OTM puts and calls. I don't quite understand it all so I am going to get the book. bernieschaeffer.com

I know you like Freelance, do you think that MS Excel would work as well?
