H1N1 has been pretty bad at my son's school and even on his baseball team. One kid on his team got sick a week ago today...he missed three days of school, but was actually symptom free after two days. (a couple of moms on the team got it too)

and here's what I'm thinking....I know that my son and I have both been exposed to H1N1 in close proximity (I'm the coach of his team) and neither one of us got it. So either it isn't especially virulent or we already have the antibodies.

So ...I've already been exposed and I didn't get it. My son goes to a petri dish farm every day and he didn't get it. My wife didn't get it....At this point the vaccines seem like an afterthought. Why would I get a vaccine after already being exposed to it?

It does seem like the emergency declaration might have some ulterior motives.
