I am trying to understand this post. Can we start with "purpose of the species"? If the purpose is to help your fellow man, then I understand. There is some highfalutin(in the good sense) language in there though.

BTW, Thank You for your email concerning my sister's cancer. She has been clear for a while now, but she had the nasty kind that tends to come back. My fingers are crossed.

Edit: The post I am replying to has got me thinking hard...
