Just back from my nightly walk, my buddy next door whom I walk with is a real estate appraisor .. He says the (I did not know this) that the CMHC insuring MBS is normal .. The wrinkle here is if all mortgages are routinely securitized.. CMHC site cmhc-schl.gc.ca NHA Mortgage-Backed Securities are comprised of pools of amortized residential mortgages insured by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) under the National Housing Act (NHA). Yes stuff looks OK here in Toronto but retail does look light... Christmas should be interesting... I comment to a chap at CostCo that business seemed lively still.. He says... Folks that shop here aren't typically worried about the economy... Well I am LOL.. B
