The time and place for human exploration of outer space has come and gone for centuries. Our society and technology is not so advanced to make this practical. Besides, we human beings are tipping the scales between our ecological demands and ability for natural processes to replenish or otherwise recover.

As captivating as going out of this world is, we need to focus on our inner world to see if we can avert damning the human race.

Then again, the human race are mindless maggots bent on picking the carcass of the planet clean.. and so we might just as well pursue out there applications. Maybe like in science fiction of Heinlein and others, we can leave this place to the poor smucks who are not able to get off to a better place (anywhere but the toilet bowl earth).
