"like what IS going on that so many woman get abortions??"

It has always been that way. Other animals have abortions, as well.

Abortion is an inherent right. A determined person can abort even if she must starve herself. Her body is her property.

It doesn't mean that abortion is always rational. Nor does it mean it is either good or bad. It certainly doesn't mean it is an easy choice for a mother who instinctively wishes to bear offspring as an evolutionary urge.

RIGHTS are RIGHTS. Human persons are not dolphins and they are not eggs and they are not feathers. Human persons have interests so it makes a difference to them as entities whether this or that happens. It doesn't make a difference to a feather and that is why feathers don't have rights. They have no reason to have rights...

Most matter/energy never become sperm. Most sperm never reach an egg. This is no less an aborted person than the millions of spontaneous (and instantaneous) "abortions" that occur when a sperm DOES REACH an egg. The argument is religious and silly. When we are civilized we will talk about how to make ALL pregnancies WANTED pregnancies--and how to raise healthy offspring who will continue humanity. In the meantime...STUPID TALK from greg or e stemming from primitive religious thinking...
