The jobless rate currently stands at 9.8 percent and is estimated to rise above 10 percent this year or early next year. But William Strauss, a senior economist for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, said that companies appear more willing to hire employees. It is very difficult to take much joy in this. One generation (ours) should NEVER, EVER take money from a future generation (our childrens) to make life easier for us now. Anything we do WITH THEIR MONEY ought to benefit THEM. The stimulus does not benefit future generations one iota, and frankly, there is no evidence to suggest it will benefit US either. A total waste of trillions of dollars that ultimately will play a role in bringing down our country. Hope you're happy.
