Thanx Reg. I was concerned that Jim was getting out all together, which would of caused me to believe that he was getting out while the getting was good. Do you know if Jim is still holding his shares? and if so, is he going to have a seat on the board?
From my recent telephone conversations with people in the area (Madsen & Red Lake), there is an apprehension about where the money will come from to finance the mine after Jan/98. These are some of the rumuors I've been told:
1. Madsen is looking for a major to assist developing the mine
2. Goldcorp (mine about 20 kms away) is looking at buying the mine and /or just the mill? (they are looking at expanding their milling capacity)
3. Madsen may loose their good miners when Goldcorp finally settles their strike. (this strike has been ongoing for about 19 months and many of Goldcorp's employees are working at Madsen)

Please comment on any or all of the above rumors I've been hearing.
Regards, Nick
p.s. Do you have a phone number that I can use to get in touch with Jim or their IR people? I'd appreciate it.
