Too funny (putting it kindly ;o).. If you note I went to the CMHC site to investigate if the MBS are actually insured by CMHC.. which is in fact the case.. So the question is how many mortgages are securitized.. It does make a difference..

As to my layman.. well he has many years experience in the field.. so yeah he carries a tad more weight with me than a guy named after an old Stones tune..(no more I guess than you care what a big black bird alias says) but I just gather info and make my own choices... same goes with analysts and 'gurus' I don't care about their opinions.. just what they know.. so that's fine..

Now despite my neighbour's experience he cannot possibly know the answer to the question I posed to you which was asking what you were referencing. He's not a mind reader so I don't understand the reason for your sarcasm.. not that I really care.. beyond why not just answer instead of being an a$$ ?

Anyway.. sorry I came back to this thread and sorry for wasting your time.. just catching up on some of Trig's posts ... and I had thought maybe the thread had purged itself of the old detritus (or I wouldn't have wasted time on this post either).. I now see the that the misanthropic void left by Richnorth's banishment has evidently been filled..
