ThanX Allen. If I understood you correctly, obfuscation seems to be the goal of the market. I agree with you that the market takes the easy way out in categorizing stocks into known(and often incorrect) categories. WIND as a semiconductor stock can lead to dangerous conclusions. Bolstered by your comments I plan to increase my holdings in WIND. In a later post can you expand on your comment of "is it better to own Dairy Queen stock rather than Wind". This hit close to home as my portfolio is rather tech heavy, because this is an area where I think I have some expertise and so feel comfortable investing.
