Your take of 1½ years ago (aka) 18 months ago qualifies as an SI member being "recently active" on public boards fails the smell test in my opinion.

But bring my request into finer focus, the "said moderator" on the board I requested to replace him was last active on that board over 5 years ago (aka) 64 months ago.

And yes, there have been many posts over these five years that included a few major company press releases.
