I cancelled my Unicare Health insurance three weeks ago after being with them since 92’. The last premium increased 20% from the previous quarter and doubled since 04'. This is the reason why I cancelled.

Why the increased I ask considering I only used the insurance once for a checkup in 18 years. See I take responsibility for the preservation of my health and do a pretty good job of it but do not qualify for any type of discount as that would be considered discriminatory.

That one doctor’s visit for a routine checkup I requested to pay cash instead of using my insurance but they told me the cost would be at least double. The paperwork was a nightmare as I requested copies of the bills my insurance company was going to pay as I wanted to make sure they were not being over charged. It was absolute insanity what I uncovered.

So now I am shopping around for another health insurance provider. I can decipher with clarity INTC’s 10-k and q earnings but for the life of me cannot understand some aspects of their policy they want me to sign. Two of the largest providers, (names I can’t mention), provide policies with all types of exemptions in case you end up having something catastrophic happen. Of course I cannot get anyone to answer why they think this isn’t important to discuss and these questions seem to be uncomfortable for them to answer.

Having my own business for thirty years I have dealt with thousands of representatives of corporations at a very high level. I can spot dishonestly a mile away and I can tell you beyond any doubt the medical and insurance business in this country is the very best in the world but it is also very corrupt.
