"the cable channel most focused on the news and not opinion is doing the worst of all 4 channels."

My old housemate in CA was a fervent (D), always voted (D), was a veteran that got his health care at the VA and a social worker.
He was very liberal.

But, he watched Fox News! I asked him why he watched that (R) propaganda channel, and he looked surprised. He hadn't given it any thought until I asked him. He said he watched it because it was "more exciting" than the other channels.

I can't disagree. Fox has an inflated dramatic style, where the other channels just try to dryly deliver the story. CNN should lose Wolf Blitzer last year. Fox News will seek out the individual emotional anecdotes that mean nothing that the others might ignore. Fox does infotainment, with a little news for leavening between propaganda pieces.
