I don't know if he said it, but if so, it is astonishing how accurate his forecast was. Amazing.

Medicare is now trillions of dollars in the hole, threatening the very existence of our democracy. Only some 45 years after passage.

Who, besides the Great Communicator, could have possibly foreseen this development?
