EXACTLY what President Bush's team authorized (and General Petraeus implemented) with the Sunni chiefs who had been killing our boys in Iraq!

(Tens of millions in cash were paid out directly to them out of suitcases to buy them off... and it *worked*.)

So, what's the deal? You think what worked in Iraq won't work in Afghanistan?
