Has he sold the shares yet?
Also in an earlier post you said he "had been taking 100,000 a month" out for months. Your information is so biased and so incorrect, that you are preventing a reasonable assessment of the risks and rewards on this stock. You've squashed any discussion of the stock fundamentals, and tossed personal slurs around. I'm working as hard as I can these days, and can't always chase down information for you at your beck and call. I have tried to keep from getting personal, but you simply seem to want to fight with your fellow shareholders.
If you recall, on this thread, as early as mid-summer I put the chances of this stock going belly up as 25%. I also implied that most holders limit their holding to 5% of their portfolio or less, and have repeatedly disclosed that I have limited my holdings to less than 3% of my portfolio. In spite of this, I have a large paper loss on this stock. I'm not happy about this, but I'm not about to go blaming someone else for my decisions. I also don't ask someone else to do my due diligence.
Bill, I'm hurting too, and so are the other three posters you picked out for scorn. Why pick on us because we took the initiative to spend a lot of time and effort to collect info and meet with management? I assure you I didn't do it to make money at your expense.
If we could return to the issues that may impact the current stock price and LT investment.
1. The delay in the Q report date is interesting. When we met with BK, he mentioned the Q report should be out by October 26 or 27. Seems to me the delay could mean two things: either they are trying to delay to the last minute or they are delaying hoping to have the ADC deal done by then. They could delay until November 14 before violating the SEC rules requiring they report within 45 days after the close of the Q. But they are planning to release the report on November 6.
2. Today is the last day mutual fund managers can sell this stock and report the tax loss in the 1997 tax year. I think that may have put a lot of pressure on the stock this week. I think we've seen the low until the Q report.
3. I bought this stock this spring/summer because of the Cisco connection, and I simply have no current info on the development of the teleconferencing, distance learning, and remote medical systems they were developing for/with Cisco. We haven't seen any significant Cisco revenues, so it could be this venture isn't progressing very fast. We will find out in the Q report and conference call.
