I find that he (Cohen) is performing at the Rosemont Theater this Thursday at 8 PM. Now the question is can I get Jon home after soccer practice and still make it to Rosemont by 8. I think I can.

Oddly enough, I built the Rosemont Theater, at the time (not that long ago) the largest free standing pre-cast concrete building ever built. Jay Leno did a Tonight show from there, I believe the first use of the building. When I say I built it, I was actually 1 of 6 ironworkers who set and welded up the pre-cast. We spent a week fabricating special temporary braces big enough to handle the pieces. Panels were 80 feet tall, came in on their sides on stretched flatbeds, had to pick and rotate them upright in the air, not that unusual except for the 80 feet part. Lots of interesting torque doing that. One crane, two drums, big old blocks and spreaders. Guy named John Surd was the operator, good guy, good operator. I was the top man, meaning I was in the lift at the top of the panel as we set, as opposed to the bottom man, who is at the bottom of the panel (duh). I've never been in the building since. A couple of reasons to go.
