Hey look what I found:

Flash cards can also be used with smart cellular phones to expand memory and storage capacity. For example, they can hold a complete list of personal and business phone numbers. In future cellular phone applications, a flash card will store audio data and function as message answering/retrieval center. Even with the phone turned off, the card can store messages for retrieval. Audio files can also be transported to a PC for processing, attached to an email message or archived for later use.
