I am very cautious about stuff like that. I got an email in my spam folder from the IRS the other day telling me they owed me $2400. (I rounded up.......can't remember the exact figure, but that is close enough) Despite the very professional way the email was put together, I knew it was a hacker. It had a download attached (which I avoided like H1N1) and so I went to the Treasury web page and they said they never send emails, so I forwarded the suspect email to their phishing dept.

I did get an email confirming they got it.
