The enemy are sensitive. The reason we "lost" the Vietnam was domestic lack of resolve.

The NVA knew they lost after the Tet Offensive. They were ready to surrender. Walter Cronkite throwing in the towel before the NVA could changed the outcome and history.

When the anti-America left were trying to destroy President Bush 43 the terrorists in Iraq stepped up the violence. Fortunately we had a leader who lead.

Obama waffling has elevated risk in the Afghan theater. Terrorists are more likely to expend precious resources when they think they can influence American weak resolve.
