Intel is down 2% and AMD is down 6.5% for a difference of 4.5. Considering all the doom and gloom in the news today, I would hardly say it is all because of the Hector news. Some of it sure, but much of it no. If it dipped on an up day, then I think you have a stronger point. Let's revisit this next week and see where it's at. Besides I am still up a bunch and I feel comfortable it will be back in the 5s by November. By then, I am no longer tax encumbered on my gains. So what happens today is largely moot unless it affects tomorrow. We shall see and yes I appreciate the irony of this situation, but it confirms my thoughts regarding Hector. He was worse than Jerry. At least with Jerry I could see where the money was going (on suits and limos, but at least I could see it) and he could keep his mouth closed when it was critical. Hector acted like a school girl and apparently blabbed like one too.
