I hadn't seen those sites. thanks, I'll click. I'd read some on a couple of urban planning/living sites.

I can understand the thought of being up for it or not. for me it might depend on how many years it is before I get someplace.
I've already lost a step or two, lose another few and it might be too much.

Something I like about Denver is that in many ways it is a small town. large but put together in pieces of small, and you have the neighborhoods connecting to what passes for downtown there, where you can walk, and lots of green. Detroit could be a case of a transformation. The idea appeals. Denver was never fallen apart, but it did work hard to transform its economy, and what they did with 16th st is very cool.
