imagine a country, where anything above nearly zero, is an improvement in wages.

imagine a country, where there are few laws to satisfy, when doing business.

imagine a country, where there is no department in your company dedicated to sales taxes, payroll taxes, income taxes, federal and state charges and surcharges, and all manner of other costs well beyond the costs of production etc.

imagine a country, where recently the only accounting system in place, was accounting for cash. no accruels, no interest charge tracking, no question marks on transactions... all cash.

imagine a country like that, that now has added an accounts receiveable module, but no other real improvement or complexity to its cash accounting.

imagine a country, where if you are penniless, young or old, and can find no other way to survive; there is no welfare, no medicare, no shelter, no food stamps, no soup kitchen; your life is simply about waiting to die.

imagine a country, where there is a line behind you as far as the distant horizon, and snaking in every direction from each point on your personal compass. There is no time for fear and every incremental life improvement is a victory.

imagine a country, where some goods cost more when made by a machine, than when made by 50 people in lieu of a machine.

imagine, competing with a country like that?

then imagine, how far you must fall, to compete well, if at all.

imagine that.
